As you pull into the driveway you are instantly taken aback by the breath-taking views first and foremost, followed by an appreciation for the thoughtful design by architect John Irving, in creating a home that blends in so beautifully to the surrounding landscape.

Taking on this project it was originally classified as a ‘renovation’, however, it soon became abundantly clear that it was anything but your standard renovation. The design was centred around creating a home that blended seamlessly with its natural environment rather than standing out like a sore thumb.

There were considerable earthworks and retaining involved to be able to provide our clients with a sweeping wrap around deck free from any balustrades. The brief also increased to include a swimming pool and spa, which ultimately really brought the whole place together. Standing at the pool it almost feels like the pool is one with the sea.

This is a home we will never forget, truly a breath-taking piece of architecture while also providing absolute comfort with a flare of luxury living.
