Te Whara, Kauri Mountain Renovation

When we first set foot on the 25 acres of beautifully rugged coastal land at Kauri Mountain, Northland, we knew this home renovation project was going to be special. With sweeping views north to the Bay of Islands and south to Great Barrier, Little Barrier and Kawau Island the location alone was epic.

The Tuck Construction team undertook this Two Architects designed renovation of an Andrew Patterson concrete house. The project involved dividing an existing upstairs bedroom into two and relocating another bedroom upstairs to form a three bedroom home. The downstairs area was remodelled, a bathroom was added and an interior wall and tractor garage was opened up to increase the living space in the home.

Our clients carefully chose paintings and furnishings, acquired from all over the world to showcase the design and build.
